About

Cordova Bend Property Association

Named after a bend in the majestic Guadalupe River just before entering Canyon Lake, Cordova Bend on Canyon Lake is seated deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Established in 2006, the Cordova Bend Property Owners Association was created for the benefit of our property owners. The Association's mission is to maintain a welcoming, peaceful, and family friendly community for all owners.

The Association is a Texas Non-For-Profit Corporation and is regulated under the Texas Property Code, Chapter 209. The Association is professionally managed by Diamond Association Management & Consulting (DAMC).

The Association's Board of Directors is comprised of three members (per the Association's Bylaws) elected by the ownership, each serving a staggered three-year term. Current Board Members are listed below:

My son, Mauricio JR and I finally became residents in Alto Lago June 2023 after residing in multiple US States.  After 31 years of commitment and service to our great Nation, I transitioned to civilian life, with qualities of courage, self-service, integrity, strength of character and commitment.  We are happy to have the opportunity to reside in Cordova Bend and Alto Lago!

My husband, Ricky, and I have lived in Cordova Bend since 2010. We have three children and four grandchildren. They keep us “young” and on our toes. Our weekends are full of baseball tournaments, flag football games and sleepovers. The Grands love the quiet open spaces, our private park area and getting to see all the wildlife and stars when they come to visit.

Prior to building in Cordova Bend, we lived in Louisiana, Arkansas and a variety of cities in Texas. We were the fourth home in the neighborhood, and have seen it go from being a wide-open space that more closely resembled a big ranch into a developed community full of homes and caring neighbors. We have seen so many changes over the past 15 years. I worked for 30 years as a speech and language therapist in the public school systems. Upon retiring, I began my second career as a Realtor. When we first moved to the New Braunfels area in 1992, the population here was around 24,000. It is now well over 100,00, and continues to grow and prosper. We are all so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of Texas. Yes, we live in a beautiful community on the lake, but the best part of living in Cordova Bend is the neighbors.

Barbara and I have been long time residents of Cordova, making it our primary home since 2015.  We've been active members of the community, with Barbara serving on the ACC for 3 years. We have lived in many locations throughout the country, following my almost 40 year career with two class one railroads. We chose this area for retirement on account of its natural beauty and remote feel, proximity to the lake, and the people. We have four children, located throughout the country, and as a result spend a good bit of time traveling.  We also enjoy golf, although still not very good. In addition, I still hold a General Aviation pilots certificate, we do a good bit of volunteer work,  like maintaining and enjoying our property on San Jose Way, and good times with friends and neighbors. However, how I really like to spend my time now is maintaining and restoring classic cars and carting them around the country for judging events.

We really enjoy living in Cordova and look forward to the opportunity to serve the community.
